PARIS SS19 Report
The Paris SS19 collections had a variety of commonalities to note. Fluorescent colors paired with neutrals, structured bullet-proof styled vest with asymmetrical cutouts in innovative materials, contrasting colored gloves and shocking red suits at Louis Vuitton—this marks Virgil Abloh’s premiere collection for the brand.
Orange is the new accent featured throughout Milan’s spring collections while Mixed prints and solids colors combined are a go from Dior to Dsquared 2 to name a few. Re-imagined sporty cargo pants were also seen at Dsquared 2, a sporty man must. Dior showcased muted tones from rose to pale blue and surprise plastic raincoats. Jill Sander featured accents of statement orange (you guessed it), hints of blue and red to break up the neutrality the brand is known for, all in creative oversized silhouettes. Bohemian irreverence continues with patterns, prints and crochet knits for men in full deliverance at Loewe.
A wise man once said clothes do make The Perfect Man.
