Vintage notes echo in the air in this collection, the jazz age in the Harlem Renaissance, elegant style created with soft cotton fabrics and bold prints are what motivated Sergio Dávila to be inspired by the look of the African-American men of this era. For this collection the designer leverages his mastery of lush fabrics, graphic prints and textures, modernity is balanced with throwback vibes, The collection features relaxed moments and dapper looks from sweatpants and woolcoats, square patterns in wool slim fitted pants and oversized robe coats, all in a palette of cold tones, gray, blue, and green, with red accents, which are sure to keep you looking perfect.

Sergio Dávila – The Perfect Man Interview by Alexander Jaime

During our Gray Matter photo story shoot in New York City, we featured a soft pale gray spring suit by CFDA winner/designer Sergio Davila. His collection offers balance and perspective creating a look of sportswear sophistication doused with strong touches of warmth, using ultra-soft fabrics like pima cotton and baby alpaca blended with silk. When we caught up with Mr. Davila he shared with us what inspires him about New York, his beginnings in Peru and what makes the perfect man. Photo: David Genat
